arnhem, netherland

Arnhem is a student's town, with an atmosphere of its own. There are student houses, theatres and cinemas which make it a lively place with plenty of opportunities for culture and relaxation. There are pop festivals, street music and pleasant restaurants. Its shopping district and Korenmarkt are famous in the region.

The local authorities can help you find accommodation and you can join various student clubs such as Creas or Roderick. These clubs will introduce you to your new life as a student, and you can joint the Student Union if you want to further your fellow-student's interests. If you like sports, there is the CIOS sports centre offering a very wide range of activities. The surrounding woods are great for cycling and the river is great for boating and surfing. Posted by Hello
